About ICoME

The International Conference for Media in Education (ICoME) is a long-standing academic conference jointly organized by the Korean Association for Educational Information and Media (KAEIM), the Japan Association for Educational Media Study (JAEMS), the Chinese Association for Educational Technology (CAET), and the Teaching, Colleges, and Community (TCC) consortium in the United States.

Celebrating its 23rd annual gathering in 2025, ICoME has evolved into a key platform for international collaboration, knowledge exchange, and innovation in the design and use of media for learning. The conference brings together researchers, educators, graduate students, and practitioners in the field of educational media and technology to share research findings, showcase practices, and explore emerging trends.

On behalf of the Organizing Committee, it is both an honor and a pleasure to welcome you to the 23rd International Conference on Media in Education (ICoME), to be held August 7–9, 2025, at Inha University in Incheon, Korea.

This year’s theme, “Transforming Educational Media: Towards Accountable and Inclusive Future Learning,” invites us to reflect on the role of educational media in a time of rapid technological change and growing demands for equity and relevance in learning.

As digital innovations continue to reshape the educational landscape, our focus must extend beyond innovation to include ethical responsibility, inclusiveness, and responsiveness to diverse learning environments. ICoME 2025 offers a platform to explore these challenges and possibilities through research, dialogue, and creative practice.
